With only 15 years, Marsai Martin offers us one of the careers most successful and enviable of the “star system” of Hollywood. Actress, singer, executive producer, a fortune that is around one million dollars and more than a million followers on his Instagram account.

Marsai Martin was born in Little Elm, Texas, daughter of Carol and Joshua Martin, Marsai’s artistic career began as a child after a Photoshoot of great glamor. The photographer made a discount to his family to changing his father’s promise that he would send the photos taken at different modeling agencies and new talents. The photos were sent four agencies and one of them signed a contract immediately.

They soon moved to Los Angeles to promote Marsai’s career,of which his father was always enthusiastic follower. At the age of five years he got his first national commercial appearing in the add of The Choice Hotel “Voice of the People” and, after the success of the campaign, was signed by ABC Studios to join the program that has led to stardom,Black-is, written and produced by Kenya Barris, and performed alongside a cast of stars such as Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Laurence Fishburne or Yara Shadidi (whose career has also been catapulted thanks to this program). Her role as Diane Johnson earned him two NAACP Image Awards inthe best supporting actress categories in a comedy series and the Young artists award for best performance in a television series.

With only 12 years he made his debut on the big screen as main character thanks to Amazon Prime Videos with “An American GirlStar-Melody 1963: Love has to win ”, a film set in the 60s during the movement for the struggle for civil rights, in which Marsai Martin gives life to a 10-year-old African American girl whose imagination and creativity reinforce your optimism. A fantastic film, with an extraordinary staging, and which obtained several Awards: NAACP Award for Best Child Actress, Humanitas Award for the best children’s performance,Gold Award for the recognition of Parents and the Actors Guild Award in the actions section Children’s. He has also participated in other films with actors and actresses as Meagan Good, Adam Scott, Katie Aselton, Toni Collette and Adam Levine.

However, Marsai Martin’s ambition goes far beyond the interpretation. Its main objective is to contribute to the industry cinematographic, not only acting, but also writing and producing both series and movies. Objective met oncethe first season of the award-winning Black-ish series, already in2015, when, together with the series producer, Kenya Barris, went to submit a project to Universal Studios. Four years later, it produced a real milestone in the history of the industry by accepting Universal Studios the proposal making Marsai Martin the producer youngest executive in history with Little, starring Regina Hall, Issa Rae and Marsai herself.

After this historic event, Marsai Martin continues to reap success and now owns its own production company, Genius Production, which has launched his first series, StepMonster and has closed an agreement for the co-production, along with Universal Studios for their next movie, Queen, whose script will be provided by Camila Blackett, as well as the adaptation of B.B. Alston’s debut novel, Amari and the Night Brothers, along with Todd Lieberman, David Hoberman, of Mandeville Films, Josh Martin and Don Cheadle.
